Over the years, we have seen a great deal of rhetoric around improving the lives of those in and leaving the care system, but far too little of it has translated into meaningful, lasting change. To truly make progress, aligned and consistent action is essential. This belief sits at the heart of our decision to establish a range of Action Hubs, each with a clear, purposeful focus and each comprising individuals who have demonstrated excellence, strategic thinking, and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference.
Our mission is to foster greater confidence, self-worth, and life opportunities for care-experienced individuals through a collaborative and proactive approach. The Action Hubs have been designed not only to drive meaningful improvements but also to establish models of excellence that can be replicated effectively and efficiently.
At the core of the Action Hubs are the shared guiding principles:
-
· Enhanced Experiences for those who have experienced the care system.
-
· Models of Excellence that others can adopt with confidence.
-
· Mentorship and Collaboration across organisations and across all four nations.
-
· Trailblazing Action grounded in innovative and practical approaches
-
· Constructive engagement with decision makers at both local and national levels.

The Team at Wanstead Mental Health Clinic is delighted to be joining the network of Action Hubs.
Collaborating with Organisations across the country, all focused on Positive Action to support young people connected to Children's Social Care.
